Thee Other Theatre Company announced the rest its 2016-17 season Tuesday, following I Do Today's closing earlier this month at the Greenhouse Theatre Center.
Returning for the holidays is "Barney the Elf," a parody of the 2003 film, written by Bryan Renaud, and featuring the directorial debut of choreographer Tommy Rivera-Vega. The production plays Nov. 29-Jan. 1 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. "Barney" returns to Chicago after a sold-out run in 2015. The second offering of the season is "Threesome," to be directed by Jason Gerace. An Egyptian-American couple invites a stranger into their bedroom for a tense night in Yussef El Guindi's play. "Threesome" stars Sadieh Rifai and Demetrios Troy and runs April 7-May 7 at The Pentagon Theatre at Collaboraction Studios, 1579 N. Milwaukee Ave.
